Anna Karenina

By Quanda R. Graves

I received an opportunity to see the private screening of Anna Karenina with Kiera Knightly and Jude Law. This movie was amazing but I must say that it is the harshest truth of a story ever told in my opinion.

There are many versions of this movie, however, Kiera Knightly did an extraordinary job with her character, Kiera is one, that becomes one with her character and lives vicariously through them and brings you in and before you know it, you’re captured to feel however she wants you to feel.
Now, Jude Law played her husband and his excellence surpassed my expectations. He had everyone feeling what he felt and longed for his pain to leave and never return, purely wonderful. Only one thing though, Oprah called this the greatest love story of all however I call it the greatest lust story of all wrapped in Karma and if you know what’s good for you  you’d use this story as a guide to do right because the consequences of doing wrong can be quite heavy. If you’re a fan of the 19th Century costumes, Kiera Knightly, Jude Law and learning hard lessons to apply to life, then I suggest you go and watch this movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will own it when it comes out. Anna Karenina a sorrowful yet a beautiful movie.
